About the Hackathon
The Women’s Digital Health Hackathon is an innovative technology competition organized by Jouf University with the aim of promoting the concept of women’s digital health in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This hackathon targets female programmers, system developers, and entrepreneurs interested in digital innovation.
This competition comes in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, which aims to empower women in all fields out of belief in their role as an active element in society and raise the percentage of women’s participation in the labor market from 22% to 30% by 2030. Women constitute more than 50% of the total number of university graduates; therefore, they are an important element of community strength. This hackathon aims to raise awareness among women and society about the importance of digital health. It also highlights the most important challenges associated with it and provides innovative digital solutions to enhance the value of this concept.
